Julian Family Fiddle Camp ‘22 is in the books! M Julian Family Fiddle Camp ‘22 is in the books! Many thanks to the folks at JFFC and the San Diego Folk Heritage for putting it all together. Great folks making music together in a scenic camp tucked in the mountains above San Diego.

-2: Flash jam in downtown Julian
camp student performance with @calebklauder and Nina Weisman’s classes
picture by one of my students during bass class
Daniel Plane, Caleb Klauder, @bruce_molsky and @reebwillms at Friday’s concert
-9: walking around Old Town San Diego, land that originally belonged to the Kumeyaay people. I enjoyed exploring and reading about the area’s history off some plaques scattered around the tattered buildings. The white one is the oldest church in old town, and was restored by the WPA in the 30s.
Clouds somewhere over the Gulf of Mexico.
